Welcome To The First Friday Web Site!
Consider this your personal invitation to join other women in your community to receive hope for your heart, and proven ways to live life to your highest potential. Each month, you’ll enjoy speakers who are experts in their field and will address how to navigate life’s inevitable curve balls.

Women of all ages and in all seasons of life, whether married, single or divorced are invited to attend the free events at Harkins Theatre in the Southlake Town Center. Attend with friends and make it a “girl’s day out”, or come alone. Either way, everyone is welcome!

Lisa Rose First Friday is a place to receive hope and be inspired with proven ways to live life to your highest potential.

It's easy in our culture to live a life well below the way we were meant to live. With all the ways we pour out our time, work and friendship to others, we forget to refill ourselves…so we actually have something to pour out for others.

How do we make time for our own personal development? We take time! For one hour a month, we offer you a place to fill yourself to the brim …with hope and practical ways to positively navigate through any season or challenge that you are experiencing. Think of First Friday as a "filling station" for your personal journey. Whether you're married, single, divorced, feel down-and-out or are celebrating life, you'll be inspired with practical ways to deal with real life challenges.

Come as you are, from your workout or work, for a time of renewal. You will be welcomed whether you attend alone or make this your special day out with friends.

What should you expect as a First Friday? Women begin arriving by 10:30, so if you have a special place you'd like to sit, arrive early! Promptly at 11:00, you will be welcomed and have the chance to win incredible gifts and services provided by local businesses. If the featured speaker is also an author, you may purchase books and have them signed after the event. They make great gifts – so you can multi-task as you combine your motivational time with shopping!

First Friday is hosted by a group of local women who have been the recipients of hope and help from God and others-and want to pass that along. You are personally invited to come see what it’s all about!
